City Information

Newcastle upon Tyne is a lively, vibrant and friendly city.  Situated in the north east of England on the banks of river Tyne and surrounded by the scenic beauty of Northumbria.  Newcastle has come to be recognized as a city with a mix of the modern and historic.  Newcastle can boast three large shopping centres, and can offer a wide range of entertainment from sports, leisure centres to Galleries and Museums.  The rich variety of night clubs and bars proves that Newcastle has great nightlife too.

As well as the great entertainment the city has to offer, Newcastle also has high quality education and training from undergraduate to doctorate levels.  The universities carry out world class research and are often involved in regional planning and development.  With Newcastle having so much to offer, it is fast becoming one of the most popular cities in which to reside.

Local Information

Our properties are situated in areas with great transport links to the City Centre and surrounding areas.  Access to the City Centre can be achieved in a matter of minutes either by public transport or walking.  They are served by excellent local amenities, banks, shops, take-away restaurants and garages are very close by as are libraries, swimming pools, sports centres, bowling alley and parks.  The University of Northumbria and Colleges at Westgate and Newcastle are only a short walk, as are the General Hospital and the RVI Hospital.

GETTING HERE

By Rail:-

Direct rail services run from many UK cities to the Newcastle Central Station.

By Bus From the Railway Station:-

Walk (4 minutes) and take a No. 38 bus from just outside the railway station on Neville Street and get off at the Newcastle General Hospital on the West Road (8 minutes).  Proceed along the West Road until you come to Barclays Bank on the right, turn right into Wingrove Road.  Our office is on the ground floor of 3 Wingrove Road.

From The Airport:-

Walk (4 minutes) and take the metro from Newcastle Airport Metro Station to Newcastle (City Centre) Monument Metro Platform 1 (24 minutes).

Walk 2 minutes to Newcastle Monument and take the No. 40 bus to Newcastle General Hospital on the West Road (7 minutes).

Proceed along the West Road until you come to Barclays Bank on the right, turn right into Wingrove Road.  Our office is on the ground floor of 3 Wingrove Road.
